They carry specialty cheeses. You can enjoy a cheese plate inside. The only downside to buying a bottle to drink with your wine plate was the $15 corking fee. The bottle of wine sells for $20. So we ordered glasses of wine instead. I reccommend selecting your own cheeses to try.
One of my favorite "hidden" gems near Findlay Market. The ladies are knowledgeable and the selection of cheese is top notch. Even their sandwiches are divine! There is a cute little patio out back that feels private and away from the hustle and bustle of the main street.
If I could give more than five stars, I would. We had The Rhined cater my wife’s 60th birthday. Cheese, charcuterie and crudite. It was so gorgeous people were hesitant, but I gladly led the charge and it disappeared quickly. Ella worked with us to arrange cheeses from less-adventurous to more adventurous to suit our crowd. And her hand-drawn legend helped everyone discover a new cheese or charcuterie fave. I highly recommend The Rhined to cater your next event.
Excellent!!
The Rhined is the best!! We love going there for the best cheese in town!! All the employees are so friendly. This time we had sandwiches and wine in their courtyard out back. So so good!! Can’t wait to go back. Had another opportunity to chat with the owner Stephanie. She’s extremely knowledgeable about cheese (and wine!) and super friendly. Surprised when I read Ellen’s review because Stephanie has been nothing but kind and customer service focused every single time we’ve encountered her. Guess you can’t make everyone happy 🤷🏻♀️
Don’t hesitate to go to The Rhined! Keep up the good work!!
Thanks so much for The Rhine Charcutier. They did a fabulous job in setting up for University of Cincinnati's Annual Research Sponsored Faculty Award event. High Light of the evening enjoying all the tasty foods presented.
Lovely little stop right next to Findlay Market, we stopped for a nice cheese board and a glass of rose. Three cheeses of the highest quality and some salumi layer, we were refreshed and happy. The curation, quality and price were fantastic! We'll be back!
The Rhined one of my favorite spots in the city! It’s a go-to of mine for delicious sandwiches, and I love ordering cheese boards and wine (delivered to my door!) when we have friends and family over. Stephanie Webster is awesome and her entire staff is always so kind, informative and accommodating. Check them out, you won’t regret it!
Lovely cheese shop. Carefully curated selection of artisanal cheese, including some international ones and many from the region (particularly Indiana). I enjoyed the ones that I bought, and the price was in line with the quality. It's good that we can sample the cheese that we're less familiar with. The lady with whom I interacted was really nice; she looked genuinely happy at her job and was more than willing to help.
